Troop 5113 – New Email Initiative

Troop 5113 is pleased to announce a new initiative from our Webmaster: Troop Managed Email Addresses. This initiative is made possible through the support of Foley-Net Technologies.

Each participating Scout and adult leader will be provided with a troop-managed email address (e.g., example@troop5113.org). Messages sent to your troop email address will automatically forward to the personal email address you select. Messages sent to your troop email address will automatically forward to the personal email address of your choice, ensuring you can continue using your preferred inbox while benefiting from a professional troop email identity. This will only be available for youth leadership, adult leadership, and committee leadership.

Please note: at this time, troop email addresses are forwarding-only. This means you will receive emails sent to your troop address, but you will not be able to send outgoing messages.

Important Policy for Youth Leadership

Scouts serving in youth leadership positions must use their troop email address exclusively for the execution of their leadership duties. Troop email addresses assigned to youth leaders may not be used for personal purposes.

This initiative is designed to improve communication within the troop, strengthen our digital identity, and provide a more professional appearance for troop correspondence.
